I just finished playing Don't Shit Your Pants a survival horror (humor) game. I have to say although it was short it was definitely entertaining and a very good example of a creative idea being applied to an old medium. The style reminded me a lot of I wish I were the Moon. A creative idea created using 8bit art and containing multiple endings. In short it was a very well created game that should be played through, it won't take you too long but it's well worth it.
Recently I've been pretty obsessed with the game Ching Chong Beautiful.
Games like these are why I am continuously drawn back into Newgrounds.
The originality and level of difficulty set this game a part from the traditional platformer and I love it.
Everything from the realistic controls to the little phrases shouted by the player when messing up, this game is epic.
Everyone should play this game, really shows you how unrealistic platformers are and how much less difficult they are because of that.
Hey everyone who read this. I have a deviantART account where you can check out my doodles and photos and other stuff. The link is below (it's my deviantART username). Feel free to check it out when you have a chance. It's a cool site for artsy stuff. Also I have a mash-up song in progress. Mashing "Bootylicious" by Destiny's Child and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. See you all around newgrounds.
Similarly to my Tankmen obsession I have become interested in Castle Crashers as well. Although I think my doodle in this case has improved greatly. So join me in enjoying their awesome-ness by playing the game below.
Castle Crashing The Beard
Also feel free to go ahead and download the full version to you XBOX 360. And you could even go the extra mile and download Alien Hominid as well, you get a special Castle Crasher skin of the Alien when you do. Very awesome!
Just thought I would link to all of the Tankmen videos because they rock so much!
I also included a little sketch I did myself. Obviously it's not as good as the normal ones but I figured I could give it a shot, enjoy the movies and the drawing.
Indeed I have been here before, to Newgrounds. I would like to say that I am an accomplished flash animator and independent music star and video-game producer and all that jazz, sadly I can't. Although I am pretty good at the saxophone. So my goal for the coming years is to be able to use Flash to create animations. I have been told I have a good sense of humor and my friends and I always think of hilarious stuff. So flash animations seem like a great way to convey those hilarious thoughts. And what better sight to put those (upcoming) animations on than Newgrounds. Tom, you did a great job, a big thanks to everyone else who makes Newgrounds what it is. See you all on NG!
